Freshman year at Yale, I decided to write the feminist version of Aristotle s Nicomachean Ethics when I turned 50 After reading Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance the summer after my first year at Harvard Law School, I decided I d write my ethical treatise in the form of speculative fiction stories.I practiced corporate law, especially competition law, full time for twenty five years Simu Freshman year at Yale, I decided to write the feminist version of Aristotle s Nicomachean Ethics when I turned 50 After reading Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance the summer after my first year at Harvard Law School, I decided I d write my ethical treatise in the form of speculative fiction stories.I practiced corporate law, especially competition law, full time for twenty five years Simultaneously, I managed a small horse farm, trained and showed first in jumpers and then in dressage, bore and loved two children, and continued to read science fiction obsessively.As planned, I retired at fifty to write and help my kids get into good colleges Unfortunately, life interfered with my plan to write.I now suspect I have Asperger s It would certainly explain a lot, including my extreme fixation on truth telling and my preference for animals over humans except my two children, usually Children now far from home, I employ a female Great Pyrenees and board retired horses, including my own My best friends and house mates are two free flying Greater Vasa parrots.My chief pleasure is writing
